Super quick update

So no time to go into long details, but my recent appointment went well. I guess the top 3 reasons any baby is big are all genetics (which I suspected, but we usually send our big babies to specialists if we don't know why they are big). And I passed my 1 hour glucola, so it's not because of gestational diabetes. We'll have a repeat ultrasound at 30 weeks (I'm 25 now) but for now he's healthy and big (probably because of Brandon).

I've been working on the baby's room, so here it is painted. We really like it.

Gotta run, I'll post more later.

Time flies . . . and prayer request

Holy cow, time flies. I swear my to-do list is a mile long and never seems to end. Sorry I haven't blogged in quite some time. Things have been crazy! Pregnancy wise, everyone could say a prayer for our little guy. Shortly after posting last time I got a call that my doc had ordered a 30 week ultrasoud- definitely not routine. When I called back to see what the indication was, they told me that he was proportionately measuring large >98% which is pretty abnormal. I have pretty good dates and it could just be that I have large husband (although we joke that he isn't >98% large) but we are just a little concerned. Don't worry, I understand big babies happen and still are born fine- I've heard everyone's story about their 10 pounders, but just would hate to find out he's big for a pathologic reason. So if you could just keep our little big guy in your prayers that would be awesome!

Speaking of being big, I've gotten lots of loving comments lately about being pretty big myself- again, such a joy to hear! But pretty much no one wonders if I'm pregnant or not anymore. I'll try and post a belly shot, but my photographer is gone tonight!

I have been working on painting the baby's room and it is starting to look great. I haven't finished it yet, but it is blue and yellow (blue on bottom, yellow on top) and a white stripe in the middle. It looks great so I hope he likes it!

Work has been extra busy lately, which is part of my lack of blogging, and my feet definitely feel the effects of being on them for 30 hours straight! But it has been great realizing all I've learned in the last year and passing on my knowledge to the first years! My intern I'm working with is fantastic, so I'm really lucky.

Anyway, gotta go run, we need our exercise. The newest bump pic. . .
